After completing the major round of upgrades, as seen in Part 1 of our build posts, the newest N55 High-Pressure Fuel Pump XDI-HPFP-35 from Xtreme-DI was added to Alex's car. In collaboration with Tuning Tech (TTFS) by Frank Smith, this upgraded HPFP provides a +36% flow capacity.
The previous generation N54 twin-turbo Inline 6 BMW engine suffered notoriously from High Pressure Fuel Pump failures. Fortunately, with the N55, the factory fuel pump does not fail as often. Even so, when more power is the goal, more Air and more Fuel is required. The Xtreme-DI HPFP-35 does this job exceptionally well. Paired with an upgraded Stage 2 Pure Turbo, Alex's car can outperform most cars without sacrificing reliability.
Here are the technical specs:
Geometric Pump Capacity
1.22cc (OEM = 0.897cc > +36% capacity)
Maximum Flow Rate: 195LPH @ 7000rpm
Housing material: stainless steel hard coated Aluminum
Accessories: High Pressure line, electric pigtail-6 AN inlet hose
Installation:
Installation is fairly easy and only takes about 2 hours to complete. Everything needed for the install comes with the XDI kit. Removing the intake box and the manifold allows for full access to the HPFP located towards the bottom of the engine driver's side.

Hi Brandon,
Thanks for the comment. We just posted the product page.
Check it out here: https://studiorsr.com/collections/bmw-non-m/products/xtreme-di-high-performance-n55-hpfp-upgrade
I am very interested in getting one of these upgraded hpfp kits? I’m running FBO with pure turbos stage 2, methanol injection, etc… do you sell them? I can’t locate it on your site.
